🇭🇹 Our Story

Built for Haiti.
Powered by the diaspora.

We're a team of Haitian-Americans who got tired of watching families lose 8–12% of every dollar sent home. So we built something better.

Financial freedom should have no borders — especially not for Haiti.

Our Story

Why we built this

Every month, millions of Haitians abroad send money home. They wait in line at Western Union. They pay $7 on a $100 transfer. They watch exchange rates that disappear into someone else's margin.

We grew up watching our families do this. We've done it ourselves. The diaspora sends over $3.7 billion to Haiti every year — and somewhere between 8% and 12% of every dollar evaporates before it reaches a family member.

Tchotcho Pay was born from a simple belief: the people who need money the most should lose the least of it in transit. With USDC on Base blockchain, we can move dollars in minutes for fractions of a cent.

We're not just a remittance app. We're building Haiti's financial infrastructure — a wallet, a marketplace, a savings account, and a payment network, all in one.

Our Values

What drives us

🤝
Community First
Every decision we make starts with one question: does this help Haitian families? We exist to serve the community, not extract from it.
🔍
Radical Transparency
No hidden fees. No surprise spreads. You see exactly what you pay and exactly what arrives before you send. Always.
Speed Matters
When someone sends money in an emergency, 3 business days is not acceptable. We move money in minutes because urgency is real.
🔒
Security & Trust
We hold ourselves to the highest compliance standards. Every user is KYC verified. Every transaction is monitored. Your money is safe.
📱
Accessible to All
Whether you're a tech-savvy developer or picking up a smartphone for the first time, our product is designed to be simple and usable by everyone.
🌱
Long-Term Vision
We're not building for an exit. We're building the financial rails Haiti deserves — a platform that grows with the country for the next 50 years.
